Commissioned by a consortium of university and high school ensembles including Riverside Community College Wind Ensemble (Kevin A.Mayse), California State University at Fullerton Wind Ensemble (Mitch Fennell), Los Altos High School Wind Ensemble (Mark Gunderson), Mount San Antonio College Wind Ensemble (Jason Chevalier), The University of Texas at Austin Wind Ensemble (Jerry F. Junkin), and Upland High School Wind Ensemble (Ernie Miranda).

Based on six Elizabethan madrigals.
